Red Room at Monica Ros School

Red Room at Monica Ros School

Monica Ros School is a progressive, independent private school focused on early-childhood’s opportunities. We support joyful learning, exploring, and growing. Our mission is to expand a young child’s natural passion for learning in a setting that celebrates Ojai’s natural beauty. The Red Room is for our four-year-old students who attend school Monday-Friday. All Red Room students will turn five prior to the next school year and will be moving on to Kindergarten. The class is housed in one of our campus’ original cottages and is connected to the other four-year-old classroom, the Blue Room. There is a covered front patio with outdoor seating. The cozy classroom has areas devoted to imaginative play, a writing center, small group activities, and a shares a kitchen with the Blue Room for special cooking projects. There are 14 students with our two beloved teachers. Red Room students experience specialized Spanish and Education Through Music classes, as well as participate in all Monica Ros School traditions such as Theme Week, the Holiday Performance, Arts Month, Founder’s Day, an individual classroom performance, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and more!

The Best Part

Ms. Garcia (Teacher): Coming soon!

Mrs. Dalto (Teacher):  “I am excited to move into the Red Room!  In my years at Monica Ros, the Red Room has always been a draw because of the interesting bridge it serves between preschool and kindergarten. There is so much growth in this school year.  The students in the Red Room are so supportive of each other and their work.  Their pride in the school experience shines through each day!”
