Field Day at The Thacher School
On a beautiful morning in early June, the grade school students travel up the hill to The Thacher School, our big buddy, for a morning of track and field events and an afternoon of swimming. Teachers set up obstacle courses and steeplechases; there are foot races and choreographed relays of mixed age groups, with participation ribbons awarded to all. The foot races end with the most hotly contested race of all‚ the parent 100-yard dash. Let the games begin!
