Green Room Newsletter 2009
Final Edition

It’s hard to believe the end of the year is here! We want to thank each of you for trusting us with your wonderful young children. We learned so much from them and you this year. We appreciate you! This last newsletter is to inform you about what to expect the final week here in the Green Room…

Monday June 1st
9am- 12:45 is Preschool Play Day! This is a wacky fun filled day! We’ll be playing outside all day! We’ll have water play, a bike wash, crafts, a jumper, and so much more! A pizza lunch and snow cones will be provided. Children not enrolled on Mondays are welcome to come and play. A small fee of $20. will be charged to add the day. Grade School- Field Day at Thacher School.

Tuesday June 2nd-
In the Green Room we’ll celebrate the last day of Tuesday and Thursday children. If you’d like to bring a special snack or treat you are more than welcome! We will have a final rug time at 12:30 to sing our final “Peace Be With You Where Ever You Go!”

Wednesday June 3rd-
Last Day Of School for everyone!
11:45 am dismissal. No lunch. No Daycare. If you’d like to bring a special snack or treat you are more than welcome! We will have a final rug time at 11:30 to sing our final song and say goodbye!

Oh my goodness… Good Bye! Have a wonderful, wonderful summer! We’ll see you at Monica Ros next year!

Dear Parents,
I thought that it might be wise to alert you again to three busy – happy days this week. On Wednesday, May 13th, we will have our class picnic at Soule Park. The children should bring a sack lunch and an old beach towel or blanket. (There are no tables close to the place structure so we sit on the grass.) We will leave school at 11:30 and return in the early afternoon. On Friday night, plan an evening of enjoyment when the children entertain you with our annual Spring Production. The musical begins at 6:30 and all participants should be in the classroom by 6 p.m. On Sunday, May 17th, our class will meet in front of the Ojai Arts Center at 1:45 p.m. for the play “Peter Pan”. They can be picked up around 3:45. Have a happy week and know that we will be working our brains out academically in between all the fun.
